AINOSTICS is a fast-growing and highly innovative medical data analytics company, providing data management and AI-enabled solutions to both healthcare clients and the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on the early diagnosis and management of neurological conditions.

 

Our purpose is to advance medicine and human health by turning data into clinically meaningful information, providing valuable new insights into neuroscience. We focus on developing and deploying breakthrough data analytics at scale, through our remote access technology platform, improving both clinical treatment outcomes and the return on investment in Pharma trials of therapeutics targeting devastating conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease.

 

The Company is based in both Manchester and London, UK, with a strong culture of remote collaborative working. As our team continues to grow, we are now looking to hire software developers to help drive advances in our medical AI solutions.

Responsibilities

 

As a member of our product development team, you will:

 

• Continuously develop and improve a remote web-based platform in terms of features, efficiency, and scalability.

• Investigate and implement new technologies and industry best practices.

• Collaborate and take initiative in an Agile team working on a quickly evolving product.

• Practice good engineering, uphold high coding standards and proactively strive to improve the codebase and maintain technical documentation.

• Collaborate on troubleshooting issues and provide possible workarounds and solutions in a timely manner.

• Be an active and positive participant in team meetings, and advocate for transparency and the sharing of knowledge across the organisation.

Skills and Qualifications

 

• Degree in a computer science related field or equivalent high attainment (2.1 minimum), or an exceptional candidate with industry experience.

• Experience of backend development in Python (specific Python packages?) for a web-based application, preferably using cloud deployment (e.g. AWS or GCP).

• Experience working with databases and their architecture (PostgreSQL).

• Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernettes, Helm, ArgoCD, Jenkins).

• Experience with collaborative software development platforms such as GitHub and Jira.

Desirables​

​

• Experience working with medical (e.g., clinical trial) data or other similarly sensitive data.

• Experience with cloud software deployment.

• Software development lifecycle experience such as TDD, BDD, automation, and Agile experience (SCRUM/Kanban).

• Experience with High Performance Computing environments (batch schedulers etc).

• Knowledge of Linux system administration to help support our in-house cluster (e.g. virtualisation, Ansible, ZFS, infrastructure as code (IaC)).
